Central Park-Cumming, GA

Central Park was built in 2001 is an 85 acre sports complex located just .5 miles from GA 400 off of exit 17. The park's recreation center was opened in 2003 and features a weight room, meeting rooms, and several basketball courts.

A huge 1 acre playground is located in the center of the park and is surrounded by several baseball/softball fields. Other attractions include soccer/football fields and several tennis courts.

This park truly has something to offer for every member of the family. A paved sidewalk winds throughout the entire park and is great for walking or running. One of N.Georgia's only disc golf courses can also be found in park and is normally busy daily.

Mountain bikers are routinely seen riding the 2 mile mountain bike loop that starts at the far end of the park and quickly drops off into the woods and criss crosses at several points with the disc golf course.

Safety is never a concern at Central Park as it is also the home of the Forsyth County Sheriff's North office.

El Camino Gets Branded

Well - we decided to brand WHAT we do on the back window of the 1972 SS El Camino that we blogged previously. Why? (1) We are seeing more and more vehicles "wrapped" to promote local businesses; (2) We have noticed that the El Camino is interesting to multi-generations, therein having the same impact as a business card on wheels; and (3) it's not expensive to do!

We worked with a sign company on GA 400 in Dawsonville, and opted for a window design rather than a body "wrap". From design layout to application, the entire process was simple and cost less than $200! The "screen" was applied to the outside of the window, and it can be removed within 4 years should we want to normalize the vehicle or sell it.
